Lisa VanZegeren

Lisa VanZegeren is a 20-year veteran teacher in the American public school system. Over the past decade, she developed and maintained a school-within-a-school catering to thousands of urban teens. She has a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Literature from Grand Valley State University. She is currently a freelance writer living in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with her two cats Sophie and Bowie.
